Description
Mohan Behera (16) from the village of Idupur, Ganjam district of Odisha became the prey of trafficker ever since his father left home to lived with another woman.Both Mohan and his mother have no job and no property.
A well-organized trafficker lured Mohan with the promised of a good job at Simalpur in Rajasthan but instead he sold him to a factory owner and kept him as bonded labourer.
Failing to stopped them, the Local Pastor informed the incident to EFICAR and the team hastily reported the incident to the police. The joint force of the Police and EFICAR raided the factory and rescued the boy and the other 22 children after four months of bonded labour. These children were put to work for 18 long hours without a single payment.
